It’s a Kawasaki Racing Team 1-2 Finish at the newly resurfaced Sepang. Race 1 on Saturday sees Sykes dominated the race, leading from starting to finish line. Sykes staeted from pole position followed by Alex Lowes on the 2nd and Jonathan Rea on the 3rd.

As the red light turns green, Alex Lowes blazed through the turn 1 taking the lead from Sykes, followed by Rea but the effort was futile as Sykes reclaimed his lead before end of lap 2 and dominated the race with a 5 seconds gap.

Chaz Davies of Ducati finish in 3rd after he tried to close the gap with Rea who is running on 2nd place. Davies settled at 3rd place after failing to close the gap.
