Didi Group, the sole distributor of Aprilia here in Malaysia, has unveiled its latest 2022 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory. It might look the same as the previous model, but it has been ‘updated and refined’ for improved overall sportiness and performance.

From the outside, you can tell that it’s the 2022 model thanks to its exterior matte black with gold accents found around the bike such as its logo, inner wings, wheels, and more. Subtle, but works quite well in terms of visuals, yes? The RSV4 also comes with improved aerodynamics, revised ergonomics, new swingarm, plus more.

Underneath it all lies a 1,100cc V4 powerhouse that produces a whopping 217hp and 125Nm of torque (from 122Nm) but reviews around the world have indicated that the RSV4’s power is pretty much very usable in any rev range. This is all thanks to its very smart and complicated electronics riding suite which will require an entirely different article to explain further.

Nevertheless, the 2022 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory does come with some very welcomed updates such as Ohlins semi-active suspension and a set of forged aluminium wheels. Those who are interested to buy one should be relatively happy to know that it is priced at RM169,900 (excluding insurance, road tax, and registration).
