2 weeks ago, I posted an advertisement with intention to sell our official 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Less than 24 hours, I received a message from Johor. That’s not the topic for today, what I would like to share is the tow truck services which I engaged.

The buyer from Johor is taking part in a trackday at MIMC yesterday and requested me to deliver to ZX-10R to MIMC. Initially, I planned to deliver the bike using Takong’s 4×4. Thank to my lazy butt, I decided to find a tow truck instead.

Before I go any further, I would like to highlight that this is NOT A SPONSORED review.

I did a little search on Facebook and found a recommendation from Bob YP. The tow truck is De’Passo Bike Towing. 7.00 am in the morning, I decided to send De’Passo a private message asking for quote. Within 5 minutes, he replied RM400 from Takong to MIMC. I agreed with the price and he told me that he has a job that will end after 11.00 a.m. So, I told him to pick up at 12.00 p.m.

At 11.45 a.m. A gold color Perodua Rusa arrived, reached earlier than expected and load the bike in less than 3 minutes (although at first, I’m a bit skeptical that a Perodua Rusa can fit the ZX-10R). The bike fits in perfectly likes a glove.

Honestly, I have no idea who is he as all along I’ve never engaged any tow truck before. Since I am going to meet the buyer as well at MIMC, so I tag along in a different car. Sadly, at the roundabout in front of Takong, we both took a different path. He took use PLUS highway and I took LEKAS.

Just minutes after we split, I received a Live location sharing. Wow! Guess he knew his customer is worried and to keep the customer in a peace of mind, he shared live location.

Although I took LEKAS, but I wasn’t that quick. I ended up behind him. I caught up with him anyway.

Kudos to this young man, hardworking and very professional. He definitely gets a 5 star from MinistryOfSuperbike.com!
