New color scheme, lowered handle bars, a café racer fairing, sportier seat and a hump at the back; Kawasaki surprises Milan with the new Z900RS Café. This is a souped up Z900RS which is first launch at the Tokyo Motor Show last month.
Performance wise, the Z900RS Café, it is based on the Z900 with traction control and assist/slipper clutch and it makes 111 bhp and 53.5 lbft from its 948cc in-line-four. It also gets traction control, radial-mount brake calipers, and LED lighting all round, while the dual clocks boast analogue-style speedometer and tachometer dials, bookending a do-it-all LCD screen. It has the presence of Yamaha’s XSR900 Abarth, but without the osteopath-supporting riding position
The Z900RS comes with only Kawasaki Lime Green and a slight white paintjob that will make you stand out from the crowd and unfortunately it is the only color available.
