Kawasaki launch Versys-X 300 in EICMA, an entry level Adventure bike for the newbies. It is a scaled down version of the bigger Versys models which used the very same 296 cc parallel twin that is currently used on the Ninja 300.

This baby versys will get a 41mm long travel fork up front and a Uni-Trak gas-charged monoshock at the rear. It comes with a standard ABS, an estimated 38 bhp with an assist and slipper clutch. It weigh much lesser compare to the big brother, only 170 kg.

It comes with a tall 19 inch wheel up front with a stock 100/90 tire and the rear 17 inch wheel wrapped in a 130/80 tire.

The new Versys-X 300 comes in two variant, ‘Urban’ and ‘Adventure’. The difference is subtle, namely choice of top box/panniers, bash-plate, hand guards, centre-stands and etc.

Not a pro rider, never a racer, not very technical savvy; just a plain old fashion speed freak and for sure someone who loves to ride. Love both 4 and 2 wheels.
