BMW M GmbH is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and to kick things off, they’ve introduced this very special model called the 2022 BMW M 1000 RR 50 Years M. Think off it as the already impressive M 1000 RR, but fitted with the M Competition Package as standard plus more.

The M 1000 RR 50 Years M also comes with the entire works of M milled parts package, exclusive M carbon package, a lighter swingarm finished in silver anodised aluminium, M GPS laptrigger unlock code, M Endurance chain, pillion package, and pillion seat cover.

To ensure that everyone on the road knows that this particular bike is special, they’ve decided to dress it up in the striking Sao Paulo Yellow finish plus the 50 Years BMW M emblem to represent the brand’s rich history in all forms of motorsport and racing.

If you’re interested to buy this 999cc inline-four crotch rocket with 212hp and 113Nm of torque on tap, you can place an order anywhere between now and 30 November 2022. There’s no indication from BMW Motorrad about production numbers, but you won’t be able to get one after passing the booking window. The ‘standard’ M 1000 RR is priced at RM249,500, so expect a price hike for the 50 Years M model.
