Honda’s Nicky Hayden stepped on the podium for the first time since 2006 after winning a wet race 2 in Sepang. Hayden took the lead from Kawasaki Racing Team duo Jonathan Rea, Tom Sykes and Aruba.it Ducati Chaz Davies on Lap 1 at turn 14. The only MotoGP rider who won World Superbike Championship is Mick Doohan.
Sykes who were dominant at Race 1 settled at 8th after dropping like flies. It is a stark contrast between race 1 and race 2 for Tom Skyes. The fight between Davide Giugliano and Davies starts from Lap 3. Giugliano is under pressure as rumours hyped up the paddock this weekend that Sykes will be joining Ducati. In less than 2 corners, Rea were passed by Davies at turn 15 in lap 10 when he ran wide and Giugliano passed Rea at Turn 2 in Lap 11.
Giugliano pass Davies in Lap 12 at turn 11. Rea who has 100% podium record since the beginning fought for his podium and pass Davies for 3rd position at Turn 14 in Lap 14.
