MotoGP Court Of Appeal : Ducati A-OK

If this is your first time reading this, chances are you are not aware that four factory team in MotoGP hauled Ducati to MotoGP Court Of Appeal because they claimed that Dovizioso and Petrucci are using an illegal aerodynamic device that is fitted under the swingarm.

The four factories team; Honda, Suzuki, Aprilia, and KTM initially made the protest with the FIM Stewards but it was rejected. Leaving them no choice, the four factories decided to pursue their protest by bringing it to MotoGP Court Of Appeal.

Following a hearing in Mies on 22nd March, the MotoGP Court of Appeal gives its verdict on 26th March that the protest made by the four factories was rejected. However, that may not be the end. Shall the four factories decided to further pursue this case, they can appeal to the Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) in Lausanne Switzerland within 5 days.

So I guess we will see more of the scoop fitted on other factory bikes soon!
