Malaysia International Motorcycle Show 2016 (MIMS 16) held a press launch on 9th October 2015 at Putra World Trade Center by its organiser Eria Ventures Sdn Bhd. MIMS 16 will be held at Dewan Tun Razak 1, 2 & 3, Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) from 7th until 10th January 2016.
Datuk Wira Abdul Rauf Yusof, MIMS 2016 Patron said “MIMS will be officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on the 7th January 2016. MIMS will be the most prestigious motorcycle show of its kind. We expect to have visitors from all over the region such as Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. This will benefit the tourism industry in Malaysia.”
Eria Ventures Sdn Bhd is a joint venture with PWTC and this event will be placed in the TDC calendar as one of Visit Malaysia 2016 attraction event.
The highlight of the ceremony is the handover of a mock key by Fazli Hisham B Shukor, Business Development Manager at Fast Bike Sdn Bhd (Triumph Motorcycles Sole Distributor) to a brand new Triumph Street Triple R 675 as the lucky draw grand prize.
Triumph Motorcycle will be main sponsors for MIMS 16. The World Record Holder for the World’s Biggest Engine Capacity Motorcycle, the Triumph Rocket III, 2300 cc will also be on display in this coming MIMS 16.
