Harley-Davidson Malaysia has launched two new models for 2022, the Harley-Davidson Street Glide ST and the Road Glide ST. Designed with enhanced bagger design paired with the championship-winning Screamin’ Eagle Factory race bikes, these two represent the latest and greatest H-D bikes yet.

It didn’t take them long to bring these two models into the Malaysian market considering that they were globally unveiled back in January this year. Powered by H-D’s biggest engine yet, the 1923cc Milwaukee-Eight 117 v-twin, both the Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST produce 103hp @ 5,450rpm and 168Nm of torque.

These two bikes share a lot of similarities such as black-out parts (following the ‘West Coast’ styling) that you can basically see everywhere from the engine to exhaust, a sport-touring profile setup for enhanced comfort and agility, Brembo brake package, and the latest electronic aids available from Harley-Davidson.

Speaking of electronics, these two models are fitted with the Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements which feature:

  • Cornering Electronically Linked Brakes
  • Cornering ABS
  • Cornering Traction Control with Modes
  • Drag Torque Slip Control
  • Vehicle Hold Control
  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPMS)

What sets them apart in terms of looks is that the Street Glide ST comes with the race-inspired fixed ‘Sharknose’ frame-mounted fairing, whereas the Road Glide ST has that classic ‘Batwing’ front fairing mounted on the front 49mm forks.

The MY22 Street Glide ST is priced from RM182,900 while the Road Glide ST is priced from RM176,900 to RM189,900. Two colour options are available for both models – Vivid Black and Gunship Gray. Quick note – If you want something that has the same engine and blacked-out theme but with a bit more ‘Sons of Anarchy’ look, check out the Low Rider S updated for 2022.
